<p>2020 was going to be my first year joining Open Studios and as a physical exhibition it was sadly not to be. At the time of composing this I sincerely hope that 2021 is a year full of hope and regeneration for all of us. I have definitely explored new techniques with my work and introduced new elements of wire, bead and copper sheet to create more depth to my work. My influences are very still the elements and the world around us , I have a passion for beachcombing and upcycling those treasure's that I find along the way. Breathing new life into things has played a big part in my life be it antiques restoration with my grandparents , or travelling with my family experiencing cultures and amazing scenery all over the place near and far. Becoming a parent you are constantly evolving and I feel that my work is a true reflection of the facets of that journey . I love working with glass for my own personal pieces, commissions or sharing the passion of the things you can create and all its possibilities . I have worked with glass in lead work and copper foiling for over 12 years now and its been a joy especially recently to loose myself in new work and commissions and look forward to finding exciting ways to enhance the beauty of the glass.</p>
